A Dream

I had a dream last night
A dream I can't remember

I saw a man holding a beating heart
And a crying woman

The man had a sad look on his face
He was confused,
embarrassed, 
scared
He did not know what to do

The woman was shocked, 
and she slowly started crying
silently
The tears slowly came down her face
as she looked at her own
shattered heart
held by a man 
who promised
to keep it safe
forever
